They say the grass is always greener, but I'm not so sure.

Hit by Pitch

Cards' K. Greene hit by pitch on ankle after homer, leaves game

St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Khalil Greene limped off the field after being hit by a pitch on the right ankle Sunday against the Kansas City Royals.

Interesting discussion last season about Tony's perception of pitchers hitting batters. Seems like two things: the batter oughtta be able to dodge, and the pitcher oughtta be able to control where he pitches. In a game of chicken like that, I would blink first, since the ball would be coming at me at about 90 mile per hour. Heck, I don't know if I could actually dodge a car at that speed. But then again, if a car is going that fast on a baseball diamond, something else has gone terribly wrong.

Anxious to Start?

Cardinals activate infielder K. Greene from DL

The St. Louis Cardinals activated infielder Khalil Greene from a stint on the 15-day disabled list for social anxiety disorder, although he was not in Thursday's lineup for a game against the Detroit Tigers.

I guess I kind of feel sorry for the guy if he's that nervous. After all, it is only a game, isn't it?
