It's been a long time since I posted

Sorry about that. It's not that I didn't have anything to say, it's just that "Life comes at you fast."
I got laid off, hired at a new job and my Guard unit (and me) is now in Afghanistan. I still like the idea of the Faux Fan, because, to be honest with you, I have to work pretty hard to be enthusiastic about baseball and basketball. I have friends who like those sports, so I'll try to enlist their help this year. I've missed the (college) football season by being deployed, but no matter what, there is always next year. I'll give you the arguments for why college football is better than the pro's at the beginning of next season. Meanwhile, "Just wait 'til next year."
